Mrs. Phillips
I am so excited to be in FIT this year! My passion is teaching children how to read in a fun manner. I have taught kindergarten and first grade for 11 years on military installations as well as military-affiliated schools around the country. I started my teaching career in North Carolina where I received my masters in Reading Education. I have also taught in Georgia, Tennessee and now New Jersey. Originally I am from Upstate NY, so I am glad to be closer to home.
I am married to Mr. Phillips and we have a daughter, Baylee who is 2. We also have a cat (who thinks he's a dog) named Jack.
In my free time I enjoy reading, creating things with my Cricut, sewing, exercising, spending time outside in nature, and of course, the beach!
