Peroni, Carol

The Turquoise Butterflies

Welcome to our PreK Class

Teacher: Mrs. Carol Peroni...I am originally from the Finger Lakes of New York where I spent my youth exploring waterfalls, hills and lakes, but I have spent the past 24 years enjoying my life here in New Jersey. In addition to my passion for teaching, my family is central in my life. I love spending time at the beach, biking, and playing board games with my husband, son Case, age 26, and my two daughters, Isabella age 15 and Vanessa age 11. This is my fourth year teaching at North Hanover Public School District and my 19th year educating young children. I earned my BA from Rider University in 2003 and completed the graduate P-3 certification program at The College of New Jersey in 2009.

Educational Assistant: Mrs. Maritsa Torres...Being a military spouse, Mrs. Torres (our educational assistant) brings a personal understanding of military family life to our classroom. She moved to NJ after previously living in England. She has two children who also attend Endeavour, Luka and Mia. Mrs. Torres enjoys spending time reading, knitting, and being with her family. She has several years of experience working in child care through the Family Child Care program and has a wonderful way of relating to young children. This will be her first year working in our district as an educational assistant, but she was in the building last year filling the important role as a substitute teacher for our program. She is happy to be back as part of the teaching team.
